How much will my brake pads cost?

I drive a 1996 Buick Regal Custom that was used when it was bought. Today, they started squeaking while I was braking and made some noises when I was driving. This happened for a few miles and then when I got on the highway, it stopped. I went for another few miles and the sounds were intermittent but still happened nonetheless. I was wondering if anybody had a same make and/or model and how much it cost you to get the brakes replaced.

Also, how do I know when I need my 'router' replaced?

Thanks so much! How much will my brake pads cost?if you,ll take it to a repair shop ,they will check them for free, most shops do that now days in hope of getting the job,but the usual cost on this is usually around 125-175 bucks, and they will be able to determine if you need the rotors replaced or turned, chances are they can use the same ones you have if there not in too bad of condition, but take it to a good shop, and have it checked, they may be worse than you think they are, good luck with it hope this helps. How much will my brake pads cost?thanks.

How much will my brake pads cost?i'd say less than 20 dollars for the padsHow much will my brake pads cost?Prolly about $100/axel to get brakes done.

Your rotors will need to be replaced if they're worn beyond a certain point. New rotors cost upwards of $200 each, so don't drive on bad brakes too very long or you risk this expensive repair. How much will my brake pads cost?Brake pads will cost anywhere from $20 to $70 depending on how good you want them. Take it to a mechanic. If the rotors are really bad, they will need to be replaced. However, if they are OK, they can probably be turned. (Shaves the metal until they are like new again). Rotors are more expensive : $50 to $80 each. I work at a parts store, so this just gives you an idea of price. I don't know what it would cost where you live. How much will my brake pads cost?It's:rotor%26quot; not router. It should cost about $70 to $250 bucks per Axel, it depends on the quality of the brake pads that are used too.
