I can't get the calipers in place with the pads attached to calipers.I tried hammering it into pace but it don't budge. Do I slide in the bottom first then hammer in the top? It's a tight fit. You either forgot to compress the piston or pistons before you installed the pads, or else you got the wrong part from the parts house. Check the pistons first. If none of this works, please dude, get it to a shop. How do I solve problem installing brake pads in my 2000 dodge neon. ?do you work at jiffy lube? How do I solve problem installing brake pads in my 2000 dodge neon. ?if they wont go back in then the calipers aren't depressed all the way in ,check that, you don't take a hammer to it it though, that will damage the edge of the pads,re-chcek the calipers, look at the other side to compare to,always do one at a time then you have guide to go by on those, good luck.
