How much should it cost to replace brake pads on a 2001 Volvo S40? I think they're disc brakes.?
I think the 2001 Volvo S40 has disc brakes, and without really looking at it a mechanic guessed it would cost 500 bucks to replace the pads on all 4 wheels. Is this about right, or what? Also, is this a one hour job, or a leave the car for a day job?How much should it cost to replace brake pads on a 2001 Volvo S40? If it includes labor it might not be and it's not that hard to put pads on so I say you do it yourself. As for the pads, just go to autozone or one of those kinds of stores and tell them your cars brand/model and they'll give you some choices.
