Why is one side of my brake pads wearing down quickly?

I keep having to put on new rotors and pads literally every 2 or 3 months because the outside brake pad on my driver side is wearing down and grinding into the rotor! What is the problem? Is it sticking, doing all the work or what? How can it be fixed? ThanksWhy is one side of my brake pads wearing down quickly?Stuck caliper slide bolts or a stuck caliper piston on that side. Usually you can get a rebuild kit for not too bad a price, assuming you are mechanically inclined. If you go this route make sure to bleed the brakes thoroughly after you're done. Always pump the pedal up before you take off.Why is one side of my brake pads wearing down quickly?Sounds like your car is out of line, tire rim is bent, frame is bent someplace, something in your staring is wearing out.... take it to a body shop or your dealer and have it checked before you find out what the problem is in a big crash.

(Later: sorry %26quot;Chris%26quot; I agree with you and I get a thumbs down... shows how smart thumb downers are... but it is funny)Why is one side of my brake pads wearing down quickly?either strip and service O/S caliper, or replace it it's obviously holding on.
