How much to replace 1999 Mazda 626 front brake pads ?

I've been given a quote of about $200 for replacing front brake pads and shaping the rotor. The rear brake pads are fine. I was wondering whether it would cost so much. Please advise me.How much to replace 1999 Mazda 626 front brake pads ?The first poster quoted you $125....interesting.



If you have a garage and you can turn a wrench, there's no excuse to not do it yourself. It's very easy, but you do need to get the car on jackstands.



If you do it yourself, and if you have all the right tools already, you can do the front brakes, WITH new rotors for under $70.



Just did the brakes on my wife's 626. $68.34 for new set of semi-metallic pads and new rotors.How much to replace 1999 Mazda 626 front brake pads ?i own a repair shop,and that is a little high on front brakes for that car i usually do them for around 125,and that includes turning the rotors also,on it,and rotating the tires as well ,but then im in Tennessee,and i know the labor rates are double in some places other than here,but 125 is a good price for that car anywhere you go,,good luck, i Hope this help,s.How much to replace 1999 Mazda 626 front brake pads ?You can find coupons for Brake pads and the like for places like CarX. I recommend CarX because they do have the coupons and they are reliable. They stick to the quote or go under the amount quoted. Since you don't say where you are located. Can't tell you if this is normal or not.
