How much to replace rear brake pads?

I have a 2000 Jetta, I'm just wondering what's right price for getting its rear brake pads replaced (I've been ripped off before, so I like to get an idea what the average price would be).How much to replace rear brake pads?Well..generally..VW parts are going to be more expensive than most other US brand vehicles.

A decent set of pads would run about $40....then just get someone else besides a dealer or a hi priced fix it shop to put them in.

Note one other thing too....if you plan on having these pads last a while...you may seriously consider getting the rotors turned also...otherwise...those nice new pads are going to wear out faster than they normally would.
