How much are new brake pads or routers?

I have a nissan altima and it has over 100,000 miles on it, i think i got new brake pads 3 years ago. Recently my brakes have been making a squeaking noise when i hit it...i know thats not a good sign. I'm wondering if it already went down to the routers (mispelling) if so how much do they cost?How much are new brake pads or routers?THE NOISE YOU ARE HEARING IS A SMALL METAL STREEP OF STEEL, PUT THERE BY THE MANU. TO TELL YOU, THAT THE PADS ARE GETTING TOO WORN, AND IT IS TIME FOR A NEW SET. IF THE ROTORS ARE NOT GIVING YOU A PULSATION IN THE BRAKE PEDAL, THEN THE ROTORS ARE FINE. PADS PER WHEEL IS ABOUT25.00, ROTORS ARE 75.00. SOUND LIKE YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH JUST THE PADS.How much are new brake pads or routers?If you have a screech when you put on you brakes that means your brakes needs to be replaced. when you buy new brake pads they have a metal part on them and before it gets down to the rotter that screech will or should tell you it needs attention to the brake system If you had the brakes for 3 years now I do not think I would put them on my car, so do your self and your car a favor and buy new ones..

As far as the brakes in the rotters, that is according to how much you have driven it after the noise started and if you need new rooters ? Try Auto Zone or Pep Boys or Advanced Automotive they will be cheaper..

Chances are you don't need rotors, but you never know.
